What does the word mean "autonomous affliation" ? pgdm is autonomus while mba is affiliated to ugc? clear the difference pls. which 1 is b

Diff b/w mba and pgdm? which 1 is best? 1 is degree and 1 is diploma? else the fee of diploma is high? Is the value of pgdm overcms the mba? plz clarify.

Autonomous can mean that the course is run by the academic council of the institute and is not recognised by UGC/AICTE/DEC. The course might have been designed and developed by the institute. Another meaning of autonomous can be 'self financing' which mean that they are recognised, but they are not
