The academic eligibility for the GIBS Business School, Bangalore MBA and PGDM programs ensures candidates with a strong academic background and management aptitude. Applicants should have a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognised University with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for Reserved Category). A final year graduation student may also apply provisionally. The candidate should also possess a valid score from any national-level entrance exams such as CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA, GMAT, or State CET. Work experience is not compulsory, but it is considered an added advantage when it comes to the selection.

Here are the eligibility criteria for PGDM / MBA at GIBS Bangalore, in a simple and generic way:

    • You need a Bachelor's degree (3- or 4-year) with at least 50% marks from a university recognised by AICTE / UGC / AIU.

    • Final year graduation students can also apply (provisionally).

    • You must have a valid entrance exam score: CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, ATMA, GMAT, or the applicable state-CET.

    • Work experience or additional qualifications gives you extra advantages in selection (optional, but helps).

    ALL THE BEST!

For admission to its MBA/PGDM programs, GIBS requires a bachelor's degree from a recognised university with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD candidates), or an equivalent CGPA. Candidates can be in the final year of their degree programme and are expected to have a valid score from a recognised management entrance exam like CAT, MAT, or CMAT.
