Eligibility for LPU is to pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST or JEE Mains. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium (5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants). Admission Criteria:
Merit in qualifying examination, subject to eligibility criteria. For more details, visit:

Dear Chethan, The eligibility criteria to take admission in B.Tech at LPU is pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST or JEE Mains. Since question is specific to JEE Mains, the minimum cutoff for scholarship is 80 percentile. However if your JEE Mains score is below the threshold, you may very well apply for LPU NEST and score well to attain the admission as well as scholarships. DVD.

You can take admission on the basis of either JEE or class 12th score. You can write LPU-NEST Entrance Exam as well after applying online for the same. It will help you fetch scholarship on your tuition fees per semester. All the best.
