What engineering branch can I get in NIT? What should I prefer keeping placement and scope in mind?

My score in JEE Mains 2023 is 96.9 percentile, I'm expecting EWS rank nearby 3800.

    In my opinion of you don't have any kind of enthusiasm towards any branch you should opt for ECE branch because it involves network and circuit theory along with coding so you can forward in any of the field i.e in it sector and in core or electrical sector too.

    Well, if you are keen to get good placements then you should choose CSE or ECE. But, try to research a bit about every branch before going into any college. Interest will always overpower anything. Money will only be a byproduct if you have interest in something.

    The best branches here too are CSE and ECE. Apart from that mechanical is also quite good in this college in terms of the faculty and student quality. The placements might not be great for mechanical but the overall branch is good. CSE and ECE have really good placements as well.
