    Bhakta Kavi Narsinh Mehta University conducts entrance exam for admission to B.Ed, M.Ed and PhD programmes. The university conducts PhD Entrance Test or PET in online/ offline mode. The test includes General and subject specific paper. Candidates with a valid score in UGC-NET, UGC-CSIR, GATE, GSET and similar national level tests can also apply for PhD. B.Ed Entrance Test is divided into two sections with first section same for all the students.

    The qualifying examination, which varies depending on the course. For example, for admission to the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and Master of Education (M.Ed) courses, the university conducts an entrance test. The qualifying marks for the Ph.D. Entrance Test will be 50% - in aggregate (paper-1 & Paper-II).A relaxation of 5% of marks, from 50% to 45% shall be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Differently-Abled candidates.
