The Guru Nanak Institute of Management Studies (GNIMS) accepts scores from a number of national-level entrance exams. The exams accepted for admission to MBA/PGDM courses include:

    • CAT: Conducted by the IIMs
    • MAT: Conducted by AIMS
    • XAT: Conducted by XLRI
    • CMAT: Recommended by the AICTE
    • ATMA: Conducted by AIMS
    • MAH MBA CET: Recommended by DTE
Candidates must also have a graduation degree with a minimum of 50% marks.

The final selection is based on the candidate's performance in the entrance exam, performance in the personal interview, and prior work experience.
