<p>Candidates must have completed Class 12 or equivalent, or Class 10 plus a three-year diploma, with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ST) in order to be admitted to the Symbiosis Institute of Design's B.Des program. To be eligible for admission, candidates must also take the Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design (SEED). The computer-based SEED exam is administered online. The exam measures the candidate's foundational understanding of design, art, craft and culture, environment, and logic in Science and mathematics. Candidates must have a valid SEED score in order to apply for admission to SID. The SEED score is only valid for one year. Candidates may apply to any BDes specialisation while they are taking the final year exam.</p>
