The university admit candidates to the PG-level programme based on entrance examination scores. Tumkur University accept scores of KCET/Karnataka PGCET/KMAT for selection. Mainly Tumkur University, Karnataka accepts scores form two entrance exams Karnataka PGCET and KMAT.

In addition to this Tumkur University, Karnataka accpets National level entrance exam that is CAT and MAT.

For admission one must have atleast 50% aggregate in graduation.
