NEHU Entrance Test (NEHUT) organized solely by the university, which accounts for 70% of the score. UGC-NET, Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), and ICAR-NET are also recognised examinations with a weightage of 30% each. Furthermore, NEHU Tura accepts CUCET (Central Universities Common Entrance Test) scores as well whose percentile score cutoff of 50-60% exists. The total number of seats on offer for MSW is close to 150 with 25% of it reserved for SC/ST candidates.
