2013-02-12 16:07:00Infrastructure sector is wanting for more Engineers with Managerial skills, particularly Project Management. I think you should opt for PG courses in Infrastructure Management where you will be trained for Project Management skills and you can end up managerial jobs in companies like L & T, Atlas Copco, Sunil HiTech, NCC Ltd. etc.
Please do not go for general MBA since general MBAs cannot work and perfomr in Infrastructure companies. -

2013-02-13 13:20:38It is perceived that B.Tech engineers can perform better in the Management field because of their techno-commercial skills. However, it may not be always true. However, today every B.Tech engineers are expected to complete MBA/ PGDM when they are in the management role. B.Tech course offer them to learn basic engineering while they are expected to get practical experience through internship, industry projects, etc. and finally when they begin to work they get real life hands on opportunity to learn engineering which colleges cannot teach in classrooms and labs.
