What exactly is micro presentation? Is it similar to GD. I scored 85 percentile in CET.

Hi Kunti, Micro presentation is very different from a GD. It is an impromptu presentation. You are given a topic on the spot, you have a few minutes to think about the given topic. It is not a power point presentation. You just have to speak on a given topic in front of the panel as well as other aspirants. The topics range from political happenings to sports to business to Bollywood to any abstract topic. You just have to speak for few minutes. It tests how good you are thinking on the foot,your conceptual clarity,your general knowledge as well as your communication skills. Start by reading newspapers, updating yourself on latest happenings.also read books. I am sure if you follow through these things it will be very easy to crack. You have a decent score.so all you have to is perform well here. I am sure you will crack it. All the best.

Hey Kunti, Micro Presentation is like a extempore which you are given a topic and on the spot you have to talk about it. Topics can vary ,for example- IPL and Intellectual Property Rights. Just be confident during your MP. You will do well:) Thank you.

Hi Kunti, Micro presentation is when a topic is given to you and you have to speak on it for 1 minute. Here your speaking abilities and confidence is tested. Then you would be expected to write a gist of your speech on a sheet of paper which will test your writing skills. Hence, it is an overall communication test and very different than a GD.

Hi First of all good job done with regards to the CET score.The process for admission for the aicte approved pgdm course at IESMCRC is a multi layer process, which consists of micro presentation, personal interview, 10th and 12th academics, wprk experience (if any), awareness regarding current affairs, along with entrance exam score which is one of the crucial factors. With your score you have +ve hopes for converting the call. And now the answer to your questions regarding micro presentation, which comprises of two things : 1) You would be asked to pick up a chit on which a topic would be mentioned. This topic would be general topic. You would be given a time duration of 5 mins to think what you are going to talk. And at end of this 5 mins you have to come forward and talk on the same topic in front of a panel of 2 professors for 4 mins. At the end of 4mins the panel member would ask you questions related to your topic and what you spoke 2) you would be given a sheet on which you have to write a short essay related to your topic. Not necessarily what you spoke. But you can always add to what you spoke. You would be given 5-7 mins to write All the best !
