The SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram offers a wide range of infrastructure, including the central library, which comprises a huge collection of books, references, and study materials that covers several branches of courses under Engineering and Technology, Architecture, Design, and its associated subjects. The library includes a CCTV surveillance system and can accommodate 180 students in an air-conditioned environment with sub sections for Circulation, Reference, Book Acquisition, Periodicals, CD Section, Technical Section, Inter Library Loan, Audio Visual Section, Internet Section, and Desktop Publishing. The students are housed in separate hostels with three hostel facilities, two for boys and one for girls, which offer the residing students the amenities they need, such as hot water availability with solar powered heaters, study rooms, separate boys' and girls' department stores, and an Internet centre. The students are provided with well-equipped classrooms and several labs for students of various disciplines such as Engineering, Science, Humanities, and many more to enhance the practical learning of the students more effectively, as well as an auditorium (750 seater), three seminar halls (200 seater each), and an open Auditorium (3000 seater). The housing is all air-conditioned. Other amenities include a proper dining area for the students to provide food of high quality and flavour, as well as a 24-hour emergency medical service for all the Institute members and students, along with amenities like a fleet of buses for the transportation and travel of students and faculty members, a City Union Bank ATM.
