Hi there, I am an alumni of LPU. I have done BCA at LPU is a place where a person can learn many things. The main thing I have learned is management and discipline. LPU does provides financial assistance to their students as scholarship they have launched a number of scholarships. Lovely Professional University strongly believes in the fact that monetary constraints should not be an obstacle for a student to have access to quality education. So, the University extends Scholarship Scheme to students on various parameters. Students have been awarded scholarship worth Rs. 100+ crores in last year only. LPU has been ranked 78th amongst all government and private universities by NIRF ranking released by MHRD, Government of India. LPU provides opportunities to its students in terms of placements, internships, industrial exposure. LPU Scholarship scheme up to Rs. 2.9 Lac per student Students has been awarded a scholarship worth Rs. 100+ crores in the year 2020 only. Scholarship Categories: Scholarships are awarded to candidates based on their performance on any of the following categories as below : 1. Eligibility Qualification: The scholarship will also be offered on the basis of qualification previous to Eligibility qualification. 2. Certain National Level Tests (like JEE Main NEET UCEED CAT MAT GATE GPAT etc. ) 3. LPU NEST which is a National eligibility test & scholarship. 4. Performance in Sports, Cultural, R&D, Co-curricular, Social Service and Bravery Awards 5. Special Scholarships and/or Fee Concessions For Ph.D. Applicants (Scholarship phases as mentioned below are not applicable) Defence and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) personnel and their dependants toppers of Education Board scholarship for Orphan Applicants scholarship for Person with Certain Disability. Apart from that as a service gesture LPU does provide study grant up to Rs. 1lakh to the students who study in IITs, NITs They just need to give LPU NEST and score under top 500students. LPU offers many scholarships on various parameters and one of them is based on your performance in LPU NEST. In some courses LPU NEST is mandatory but in others it is for scholarships. Scholarships are awarded to candidates based on their performance on any of the following categories: 1. Students can avail Education Loan Facility in the first year as well as in the subsequent years. When IAS pursuing my M.Tech in LPU I also applied for education which was sanctioned easily by Punjab National Bank with minimum documentation. LPU has tie-ups wit the following banks:- 1. Based upon my personal experience LPU has lot to offer to students. I can confidently say this as I am an LPU alumni and during my study period I used to work part-time in various departments, whenever there was any such requirement. One of the major Financial assistance provided by LPU is the wide-array of Scholarships, such as based on LPU NEST previous qualification, achievements, and also there is a Need-based assistance provided to the needy ones.
