What financial assistance options are available at Bangalore University?

<p>Bangalore University offers scholarships as financial assistance to meritorious and deserving students based on state government and UGC norms. The top three Bangalore University scholarships are listed below:</p><ul><li>Government of India Post-Metric Scholarships are made available to Karnataka students belonging to the SC/ ST community. These candidates should also have an annual parental income less than or equal to INR 2.5 lakh.</li><li>Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor Merit Scholarship is offered to students, who have secured 1 to 5 ranks in previous qualifying degree exams and belong below the poverty line. The scholarship amount is INR 500 per month for 10 months in each year of the course.</li><li>Post-graduate Indira Gandhi Scholarship of UGC is offered to the girl child who happens to be the only child or girl who is a twin daughter in the family.
