For undergraduate admission, the University of North Texas (UNT) typically requires a GPA of at least 2.5. However, the institution takes into account other considerations including extracurricular activities, the quality of your high school curriculum, and standardised test scores (SAT or ACT), so reaching the required GPA does not ensure admission. A higher GPA can be required for graduate admissions or more competitive programs. International students must have a qualifying GPA to be admitted to UNT Texas undergraduate and graduate programs. The University of North Texas (UNT) has the following minimum GPA requirements for graduate admission:
- Undergraduate admission: A minimum 2.0 GPA or above on a scale of 4.0.
- Graduate admission: A minimum 3.2 GPA or above on a scale of 4.0. Students must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 or above on a scale of 4.0 for MFA admission.
