what group should i take in my eleventh standard to become an ias officer.i have completed my tenth standard and waiting for the result .

ou must go for arts .,., arts is better in a few ways as u have public adminstration,sociology etc which r helpful in ias .... n in arts you can select ur subjects dat u like n having a good command over two subjects help u in mains of subjective exams .... n evn in commerce u cn have two good subje

You can take arts with history as one of the subjects.I will suggest you to have command in language in which you will attend the written test and interview.You should be thourough in whatever subject youi take.
