What happens after clearing an IAS interview?

Clearing the IAS interview is the dream of every civil service aspirant. This is the final and most challenging stage. After the CSE interviews are over, UPSC publishes a list containing the names of recommended candidates. For these recommended candidates, the procedure is as follows: 1. The list of marks is released first for these candidates on the official portal. 2. The Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA) begins registration for its foundation training course. The selected candidates will receive mail from LBSNAA. 3. The department of personal training comes into the picture to start the process of document verification and service allocation. 4. Those who decide to attend FC will receive their appointment letters from the respective services. 5. After service allocation, cadre allocation will begin for IAS and IPS by the time FC is over. With the completion of FC, each service will begin its training, which will last approximately one and a half years. The selected candidates will be known by their service and get postings to their respective offices.
