SSC separates your dossiers or files according to the department allotted to you (prepared during document verification). Dossiers represent your identity. After clearing the SSC CGL exam, candidates are appointed to various posts in different government departments and ministries. Some of the prominent job profiles include Assistant Section Officer (ASO) and Income Tax Inspector. The Staff Selection Commission announced the CGL Tier 1 result on 19 September 2023. SSC typically releases the SSC CGL Result approximately 45-50 days after the provisional answer key is published.

Candidates qualifying for the paper are then called to appear for the next stage of the exam - tier 2. If all stages of the exam are over and candidates have successfully qualified all the stages of the exam then they are allotted posts in various departments of the Government of India as per the available SSC CGL vacancies. The candidates need to wait for the official intimation regarding the appointment dates and location. As per the new notification, the candidates need to report for the Document Verification at the indented department.
