A candidate is eligible to take the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) if they receive the minimal number of qualifying marks. The CBSE next grants the eligibility certificates to the CTET-qualified candidates. One of the documents needed by applicants to the central government school teacher recruiting procedure is the CTET certificate.

If a candidate obtains minimum CTET qualifying marks, he or she qualifies the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET). The CTET qualified candidates are then awarded the eligibility certificates by CBSE. The CTET certificate is one of the documents that is required by candidates to apply for teacher recruitment process in central government schools.
