What happens if I reject my allotment in VIT counselling phase 1. Can I reapply in phase 2 for a better chance?

I got a rank of 5809 in VIT and I got CSE with specialisation in Bioinformatics in category 1, I am willing to apply for CSE (with no specialisation) in category 2 is it possible.

Can we please verify if VIT is permitting to appear for phase 2 or further rounds of counselling even if secure or reject a seat in phase 1 pl for higher priority choices pl? Thsi would be an anamoly if a student with lower rank gets a seat for higher priority. Can any one guide pl.
