What happens if the category certificate is found to be invalid in JoSAA counselling?

If you are unable to find your Category certificate during JoSAA Counselling then you can change your Category to general any time. But after allotment of college during JoSAA Counselling, if your Category certificate is found invalid then your whole candidature will be canceled prohibiting you from joining any college alloted.
