What happens to lapsed engineering seats in tier one colleges?

Hello Kannan P, very good query. As the name suggests lapsed seats just ge lapsed. These are not carried forward to next year. The college in any year can have intake limited to authorised by AICTE. If lapsed seats are added in next year, it may exceed authorised seats. Besides if seats have lapsed
