What happens when an applicant doesn't meet UFV's IELTS/TOEFL requirements?

<p><a href="https://www.shiksha.com/studyabroad/canada/universities/university-of-the-fraser-valley/admissions">University of the Fraser Valley's admission requirements</a> for international students comprise of proof of proficiency in the English language as a major entry requirement. However, <strong>Indian students</strong> can study in UFV is they hold <strong>65% or greater in English in Grade XII</strong> as it fulfills the university's English language requirements.</p><p>Despite this, if a candidate does not meet UFV's, they may be eligible for the university's English Language Studies (ELS) foundational English and academic upgrading program. Once a candidate successfully completes the ELS program, they will be elligible for securing an admission in the University of the Fraser Valley.</p><p>However, in order to get access to UFV's English Language Studies (ELS), students must have the minimum English language exam score requirements listed below:</p><ul><li><a href="https://www.shiksha.com/studyabroad/exams/ielts">IELTS</a>: 6.5 &amp; Above (with a minimum band score of 6.0); OR</li><li><a href="https://www.shiksha.com/studyabroad/exams/d">DET</a>: iBT: 71 &amp; Above (with no section below 16); OR</li><li><a href="https://www.shiksha.com/studyabroad/exams/pte">PTE</a>: 46 &amp; Above (writing: 44); OR</li><li><a href="https://www.shiksha.com/studyabroad/exams/duolingo">Duolingo</a>: 90 &amp; Above.</li></ul>
