What happens when students do not meet the Webster University IELTS/TOEFL requirements?

<p><a href="https://www.shiksha.com/studyabroad/usa/universities/webster-university/admissions">Webster University admission requirements</a> for international students comprise of proof of proficiency in the English language as a major entry requirement. However, when students do not meet Webster University's English language requirements, may be granted ESL-contingent acceptance and be placed into appropriate English as a Second Language (ESL) courses.</p><p>Apart from English proficiency scores, students can also fulfill the entry requirements if they meet at least one of the criteria listed below:</p><ul><li>Successfully completed at least one academic year of high school or college-level coursework in English by a regionally accredited US university/college; OR</li><li>Successfully complete ELS Language Center's English for Academic Purposes or ELS Language Center Level 112. Students will be required to show the Graduation Certificate for either of the classes; OR</li><li>Successfully complete the University of Central Florida's Center for Multilingual Multicultural Studies (CMMS) Intensive English Program. Students will need to show the completion certificate.</li></ul><p>If students do not meet any of the requirements listed above, they will have to submit one of the English proficiency exam scores below:</p><ul><li><a href="https://www.shiksha.com/studyabroad/exams/ielts">IELTS</a>: 6.0 &amp; Above; OR</li><li><a href="https://www.shiksha.com/studyabroad/exams/toefl">TOEFL</a>: 80 &amp; Above; OR</li><li><a href="https://www.shiksha.com/studyabroad/exams/duolingo">Duolingo</a>: 110 &amp; Above.</li></ul>
