The cutoff trend for BTech ME at IIITDM Kancheepuram has been increasing in the recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for B.Tech. under general category for all India quota was 57606. In 2022, it increased to 59743. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 84625 to 72894 for OBC, 174819 to 146773 for SC, 201006 to 240679 for ST, 71518 to 79457 for EWS, 38228 to 1436 for PWD. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.
