  • The cutoff trend for BTech in Mechanical Engineering at NIT Trichy - National Institute of Technology has been increasing in the recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for BTech under the General category for all India quota was 10037. In 2022, it increased to 11032. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 16814 to 19315 for OBC, 66026 to 56969 for SC, 801 to 458 for ST, 14799 to 16173 for EWS and 303 to 334 for PWD. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow.
