The cutoff trend for medical Courses at Medical College has been increasing in the recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for medical courses under general category for all India quota was 572. In 2022, it increased to 1855. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 1235 to 3911 for OBC, 7905 to 18762 for SC, 24629 to 62264 for ST, 1417 to 5192 for EWS, 84379 to 344098 for PWD. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for medical education in India continues to grow.
