As far as the scope of any engineering branch is concerned, you have to be sure before you choose any branch, and mind that it must be irrespective of the scope, pursue the branch that you really like may it be civil or IT, how to decide? - Simple, read the course of each of the branches, find out what interests you and is exciting for you. Even if there might be no scope of that branch in India, you will find a well paying job in any part of the world.! Hope this helps! All the Best!
