    If you do not meet the CSIR NET (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research National Eligibility Test) cut-off for your subject and category, you will not be considered eligible for the next stage of the selection process. This means that you will not be eligible for the award of JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) or the post of Assistant Professor. However, not meeting the cut-off marks does not mean that you have failed the exam. You can still apply for other opportunities and exams that are relevant to your field of study.
