Failing MBBS first year examinations can be a tough experience, but surely not the end of your medical career. Most medical colleges offer supplementary exams, thus a student gets a chance to pass the subjects he failed in those exams.
A student shall be promoted to the 2nd Professional subject to the condition that if he fails in a single subject in the 1st Professional, he shall pass the failed 1st Professional subject before appearing at the 2nd Professional examination.
