If you reach the CSIR NET exam center after the exam begins, you will not be allowed to enter the exam hall and take the exam. The exam is conducted under strict supervision and any late entry is not allowed to maintain the fairness and integrity of the examination. Therefore, it is very important to reach the exam center well in advance, at least 30 to 45 minutes before the start of the exam, to avoid any last-minute rush or unforeseen delays. This will give you enough time to complete the check-in process, including identity verification and other formalities, and reach your designated exam room before the start of the exam.
