What if one does not have the IAS admit card?

  • IAS admit card is the authorisation letter required to secure entry to the examination centre. The candidates cannot appear for the IAS exam without the IAS admit card. But the IAS admit card is available online to download so there cannot be an issue. The examination authority will not allow the candidates (without admit card) to enter the examination centre. Sometimes, the candidates with no admit card is allowed to appear in the paper 1 but they need to furnish an undertaking to produce the admit card in the second shift.
