  • The tie-breaking guidelines will be followed by the authorities if two or more candidates secure the same score in CG PET. The first  preference will be given to those candidates who have scored higher in Mathematics. If the tie still persists, then the candidate with higher marks in Physics will be allotted a higher rank. If the tie has not broken, then the candidate with higher marks in Chemistry will be given a higher rank. If the candidates have secured the same marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry sections, then the candidate who is older in age will be given preference.
