What if we don't want the alloted college in cap round 1 for MBA and need a betterment option, is it compulsory to pay 1000/-. .

You cannot claim the seat allotted in CAP Round 1 as you have participated in CAP Round 2 to get a seat in a better choice of Institute and branch.
