3D animation creates a third dimension that is viewable from multiple angles scene. Computer animation (or CGI animation) is the art of creating moving images with the use of computers.

3D animation is applied on computer programs where the computer generated 3D representation of 2D graphics and gives 2D images in 3D frameworks.
