    According to announcements made by Uday Samant, Minister of Higher and Technical Education, admission to undergraduate professional courses in the state of Maharashtra will be based on a 50:50 weighting of CET results and Class 12 marks starting in the academic year 2023–2024. The State Common Entrance Cell, Maharashtra, has released the official brochure and the MHT CET 2024 Eligibility Criteria. Applicants can see all of the eligibility requirements below.     Higher and Technical Education Minister Uday Samant has announced that 50:50 weightage will be given to CET score and Class 12th marks for admission to undergraduate professional courses in Maharashtra state from the academic session 2023-24. As per this criteria, marks of class 12 and MHT CET will be considered for preparing the merit list in 50:50 ratio. Only those candidates who will have their names in the merit list will be considered for admisison.
