What is a BMM Course?

<p><strong>BMM (known as Bachelors of Mass Media) is a three-year undergraduate program</strong>&nbsp;that equips students with the necessary knowledge and skills to work in this dynamic and exciting field of mass media. This course is separated into six semesters that cover a wide range of issues related to communication and its mediums, such as newspapers, radio, and television.</p><p>The BMM curriculum covers a wide range of subjects, such as:</p><ul><li aria-level="1"><strong>Print media:&nbsp;</strong>Journalism, editing, publishing, newspaper production</li><li aria-level="1"><strong>Broadcast media:</strong>&nbsp;Television, radio, film production, scriptwriting</li><li aria-level="1"><strong>Digital media:&nbsp;</strong>Social media marketing, content creation, online journalism, web design</li><li aria-level="1"><strong>Advertising and public relations:&nbsp;</strong>Marketing, branding, communication strategies</li><li aria-level="1"><strong>Communication theory:</strong>&nbsp;Theories of communication, media effects, audience analysis</li><li aria-level="1"><strong>Research methods:</strong>&nbsp;Data collection, analysis, and interpretation</li></ul><p>In the first two years of the program, candidates are given both theoretical and practical instructions; and in the final year, candidates must complete internships and on-job trainings.</p><p>After the second year, some institutes allow applicants to choose their specialties, such as journalism, advertising, or&nbsp;&lt;a href="https://www.shiksha.com/mass-communication-media/public-relations-chp"&gt;public relations&lt;/a&gt;.
