A drop year means that you are not taking college admission in the same year when you passed your 12th class. A drop year has both advantages and disadvantages, if you utilize the drop year you can get admission in a better college but if you don't utilize, then the drop year can be stressful.

A drop year has disadvantages only. On taking drop year, your 1 year will be wasted and you'll face a late of stress.
