A SSC CHSL score of around 120 and above is considered a good score in Tier 1 examination. However, candidates who obtain the SSC CHSL cut off marks are qualified in the exam. The SSC CHSL cut off varies every year. The competition in the CHSL exam is getting stronger year by year and thus, the cut off is fixed higher every year. The CHSL cut off in 2018 was 135.60 in comparison to 159.52 in 2019.

A SSC CHSL score of 120 or higher is considered an excellent score in Tier 1 examination. Candidates who meet the SSC CHSL cut off marks, on the other hand, are qualified to take the exam. The SSC CHSL cut off changes each year. The competition in the CHSL exam is getting greater year after year, hence the cut off is set higher every year.
