What is a Graphic Artist?

Graphic artists address visual challenges and transmit ideas across a variety of media platforms by combining their technical know-how, artistic sensibility and creative abilities.</p><p>Graphic designers work on a variety of tasks such as but not exclusive to:</p><ul type="disc"><li>Designing distinctive, enduring logos that encapsulate a company's essence and principles is known as logo design.</li><li>Print design is the process of creating graphics for print media including business cards, flyers, posters, brochures, packaging and ads.</li><li>Creating digital assets such as banner ads, email templates, social networking graphics, website layouts and multimedia presentations is known as digital design.</li><li>Creating images, icons and illustrations to improve visual narrative and communication</li></ul>
