what is admission eligibility for automobile engineering

10+2 with PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) is the basic requirement to take admission in Engineering program. Percentage required in qualifying exam is 50% and JEE Mains for most of the engineering institutes. However required percentage criteria depend on college. IITs consider JEE Advance. Diploma holders are also eligible to take admission, in the second year of the course. They must have done their Diploma after class 10th with min 50% and they need to qualify LEET. In some cases candidates having bachelor degree in science are also eligible. Direct Admission- Engineering institutes which offer direct admission have certain criteria for admission. Either they offer admission on the basis of merit in qualifying exam i.e. 10+2 or equivalent or there are some management seats reserved in private engineering colleges. Entrance Exams- There are several entrance exams in India at national and state level among them JEE Main is the most sought after engineering entrance test. Some private institutes like BITS Pilani, VIT , LPU University etc conduct their separate entrance test.
