IIM Shillong process of shortlisting candidates for GDPI is independent of those of other IIMs. IIM Shillong sends an intimation mail to the registered email of the shortlisted candidates. The Candidates are required to fill out the interview form and upload the same on the Admission Portal of IIM Shillong.

IIM Shillong, then sends GD/PI call letters to only those candidates who have filled the interview form correctly.

IIM Shillong does not send any intimation to those candidates who are not shortlisted, or who haven't filled the interview form correctly within the stipulated time.

The CAT Selection Process for IIMs includes three rounds:

    • Round 1: IIM Shortlist and CAT result.
    • Round 2: PI Round – In this round, the candidates have to appear for a personal interview
    • Round 3: Selection and Verification of the candidates

The candidates will be shortlisted based on their CAT/ GMAT scores for the GD/ PI. The candidates must appear for the GD and PI process. The final merit list and the waitlist will be prepared based on the performance of the candidate in the GD and PI.
