For engineering degree B Tech courses, you need to qualify IIT-JEE / AIEEE / State Level Entrance Examinations depending on the institute. AIMA exam is for Management courses

For Engineering in Karnataka its CET and Comedk. Anways you can go to colleges and have direct admissions under management quota.

As per I know AIMA is "All India Management Association" and they conduct entrance exam for MBA to various colleges.
