Tharun, this is a technical question of a specifc subjects. Such questions are generally not answered here as that is not the objective of this sacred fourum. However just for your knowledge the particles that carry charge through wires in a circuit are mobile electrons. The electric field direction within a circuit is by definition the direction that positive test charges are pushed. Thus, these negatively charged electrons move in the direction opposite the electric field.

Conventional current is assumed to flow out of the positive terminal through the electric circuit into the negative terminal of the source.
