It is a post-graduate medical course. Medical graduates pursue this course to specialise in their respective field.

You need to study class 12th with PCB after 10th and then do MBBS (allopathy / English medicine) / BAMS (Ayurveda) / BHMS (homeopathy) / BUMS (UNANI) / BNYS (naturopathy and yoga) and then a medical degree.

MD / MS are the post graduate degree of medical science. To be eligible for that you have to complete your undergraduate degree as MBBS.
