What is Andhra Pradesh ICET normalization process?

Andhra Pradesh ICET normalization process ensures that candidates are neither advantages nor disadvantaged as per the difficulty level of the examination across the four sessions of the exam. The normalization process is implemented to normalize the scores and rank the candidates for the exams across all the sessions at a competitive scale. As per the Andhra Pradesh ICET normalization process, the marks of the easier session may be reduced marginally and the marks of the difficulty session will be increased depending on the average performance of the candidates. In case, there is no much difference in the average of the four-sessions, there will be no change in the normalization marks.
