Hi, If you want to make a career in police or law enforcement division of India, you need to be aware of some basic facts. The recruitment procedure in police happens at four distinct levels. These include constables, sub inspector, deputy superintendent of police and Indian police service. For a good position in police, the minimum requirement is graduation. Further, aspirants need to pass the Indian Police Service exam. After passing this test, you can easily apply for higher positions. For a position in Group A and Group B division, you have to pass all the tests of Indian Police Services (IPS).
