The programme aims at realising the following objectives: Providing in-depth training in both the theoretical and practical aspects of various topics like Molecular and Cell Biology, Molecular Genetics, Tissue Culture and core areas of Biotechnology such as Agriculture, Industrial, Medical and Environmental Biotechnology. To enable students to pursue a PG degree in the field of biotechnology or specialise in specific topics like Molecular Biology or Genetics covered in the programme.
