No doubt all IITs some NITs , central universities like Aligarh Muslim UNiversity, Jamia Millia Islamia, Jadhav Pur university, DTU etc, IITs all are good colleges for all branches engineering

both will take entrance exam in govt
but best engg privates takes formal test and some take interviews
