One is to work and other is to do further study. From job point of view, it would be a starting point for you. It will give you a vocational qualification which would be an asset for You. You can enter the industry after Diploma and can enter good salary after years of experience. I ha

Lateral entry into B.Tech second year will be a good option, but if you don't like engineering then there are other options available too.

A Degree in Civil Engineering would be beneficial for you. Best colleges for doing engineering are: colleges are: DTU, BITS

B.Tech in civil through lateral entry will be a good option, you can appear for LEET examination for the same.
